JAN 31st & FEB.1st in BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS - Current Florida Marlins minor league coach and Pro Edge Baseball Academy owner Andy Haines is now offering three different sessions of high intensity baseball camps at the Sports Enhancement Center in Bloomington, IL. Assisting Andy Haines will be Ronnie Deck of the Baltimore Orioles, along with other professional coaches and players. The different sessions of camps will include a Pro Swing Analysis Hitting Camp, a Catching Specialty Camp, and a Little League Spring Training Camp. The catching and hitting camp will be held on Saturday, January 31st with the Little League Spring Training being held on Sunday afternoon of February 1st.

Session I - Catching Specialty Camp
Session I is one of the few camps across the nation that concentrates solely on the Catching Position. Catchers will be instructed on everything that involves the catching position-receiving, blocking, throwing, tag plays, pop ups, calling a game, and leadership skills of the position. Each catcher will be instructed on our Professional Video Analysis system and e-mailed clips that can be played on their own computer’s media player.

Time:        1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (Check-in at 12:30)
Ages:        5th thru 12th graders.

What to bring:  Catchers must bring own catching gear-Glove, Mask, Chest Protector, Shin Guards, and must wear Tennis Shoes

Session II -  Pro Swing Analysis Hitting Camp
Session II is our Video Analysis Hitting Camp.  This limited space camp allows the players to be instructed  similar  to a  private lesson setting while using the same Video Analysis used by most Major League Baseball Teams.  Players will learn how the professional swing works, many common faults and swing corrections, along with drills to correct the problems and to allow for future success.  All campers in this session will also receive clips of their swings for future reference that can be played through your own computer in your Windows Media Player.

Session III -  Little League Spring Training Camp
Session  III is our Little League Spring Training Camp and is designed to give Little League baseball players a professionally designed spring training workout. We consider this a “total skills” camp by covering Hitting, Pitching and Fielding. We will provide video analysis of all Little Leaguers swings and parents will have video of the swing to play through their computer’s media player. All campers will also receive a free t-shirt.

Date:         Sunday, February 1st.
Time:         1:00 p.m-5:00 p.m. (Check-in at 12:30)
Ages:         Little League baseball players (Ages 8-12 are acceptable)
