Today Area Code Baseball hosted a baseball clinic at Delta Community College in Stockton, California where the determination of sixty young aspiring athletes learned the true fundamentals of the game.  The coaching staff of the 2009 Milwaukee Brewers Area Code team instructed the players for four hours under the triple digit heat until the camp broke into five groups and played a simulated game. 

In the game, the best pitching repertoire came from Danny Hawes out of Simi Valley who averaged 84-86 on the gun with a 69 mph curve.  The best bat came from Connor Buss out of Clovis West High in Fresno, Calif.  He was the lone holder of the only in-game home run that hit the top of the fence in right center and jumped over to allow Buss to touch them all.  Below are the top recording in the 60-Yard dash, catcher Pop-times and the top pitching velocities for the day.
