Macomb heading to West Central Print E-mail

The game of high school conference dominoes has led Macomb to a new league.

On Tuesday, officials from the West Central Conference voted unanimously to admit Macomb — currently a member of the Olympic Conference — as a new member for all sports and extra-curricular activities, beginning with the 2010-11 school year.

Monmouth-Roseville also was voted in unanimously for football only, with the option to join the league for other sports.

The Macomb move needs approval from its board of education to be finalized. The next Macomb board meeting is set for April 20.
