Kahoks rebuilding; Highland has big void Print E-mail

The Kahoks are rebuilding after finishing 21-12 overall and 8-6 in the Southwestern Conference last season. They return senior pitcher/shortstop Erik Shannahan and senior center fielder/pitcher Kevin Hodge, but little else.

Jake Odorizzi is gone, but not forgotten.

"Not completely," said Highland coach Joel Hawkins. "I go out there to practice and he's not there and I'm like, 'Darn.' He was obviously a lot of fun to watch, but this is new team."
