Tommy Jennings still has some baseball memories of the 6-year-old version of Colton White.
“He had a cannon, always has,” Jennings said. White also remembers a thing or two about playing with Jennings. “He was always working hard, always in that three or four spot, the power position, in the lineup,” White said. “He always hit the ball hard.” Jennings and White, who in May graduated from Sacred Heart-Griffin High School, were teammates on a summer baseball team 11 years ago. They played for the “Atlanta Braves” at Rotary and Schlitt parks in the Southwest Baseball League and also competed on a traveling team.
