MARION — With a quartet of key returning players filling important positions on the diamond, Marion Junior High School baseball coach Tom Roper is hoping his junior Wildcats can return to the SIJHSAA state tournament before the season ends.

The Wildcats open their season Monday at home against Eldorado at 4:30 p.m.
